Collecting Morley Callaghan

Callaghan was mentored by Ernest Hemingway in the 1920s, when they worked together on the Toronto Star. Callaghan became a “Scribner’s darling” and, in his early career, had great international success. But at home in Canada, he was little known. After a dry period he re-emerged in the 1950s to great acclaim in his native country.
